I spent my last weekend in Malcesine (Verona) with the guys of ASD Dolomitica Nuoto CTT Triathlon Team in occasion of the 3rd Triathlon Camp by Allenatime, hosted by my friend Massimo Marchiotto of Hotel Antonella. We enjoyed it a lot, biking and running on the beautiful Garda Lake, and last but not least lots of laughter. I came home a little bit tired but very satisfied for the good training done, on the bike especially. I’m getting better with my Ceepo VIPER-R; I perceived pedal effort clearly and I was wery happy to push again. A few days ago, I wrote on the blog about my participation at 2017 Ironman South Africa, my first race of this year that in case of placing would allow me to double score toward Kona 2017. It would be a great opportunity to obtain a good position in the new ranking KPR 2017, but everything is relative and nothing is absolute. My recovery of shoulder flexibility and mobility after the accident of last winter was much slower than I had hoped, and I have been lucky to have avoided surgery..

I changed my program of these first 2 months with the help of my staff, redefining my training plan in order to get in top condition for Ironman Lanzarote next May, 20th. I’m very calm, I’m training well and Lanzarote is a special race for me. The next weekend I will go in France.. I will inform you as soon as possible. Special thanks to all of guys who accompained me during these fantastic days and Martina Dogana and Alessandro Bertolini for their precious support!
